Looking to enrich your play with your child? Art therapist Sarah Brodie will discuss research related to attachment, and discuss techniques common to both parenting and therapy. This extends into an experiential half-day workshop for a parent-child pair, to prompt an exciting child directed creative play session; have your child bring one or two of his or her favourite toys and bring a camera!

Half-day Workshop: Maximum 7 parent-child combos.

Sarah Brodie is a graduate trained art therapist with advanced training in child and adolescent development. She has worked in hospitals, schools, and privately with families. She is passionate about sharing the powerful tools of art therapy with parents: raising a family requires creativity, courage, and community. This workshop is a special introduction by the Burlington Art Centre to art therapy and techniques that can benefit us all.
